Enjoy The Fall Weather At Cedars Of Lebanon State Park

The humidity of summer has dissipated, in its stead the chill of fall. With the changing of seasons comes a respite between summer and winter, a time that is perfect for venturing outdoors and exploring the natural beauty of Tennessee. One such location is Cedars of Lebanon State Park. Cedars of Lebanon State Park is located in Wilson County, which is just 40 minutes outside of Nashville. It is named for the eastern red cedar trees located throughout the area. The park boasts of 1,139 acres with 117 campsites, which are equipped with picnic tables, electric and water hookups, and grills. A lodge is also on site and is capable of sleeping up to 80 people. There are four hiking trails that allow you to stroll through cedar forests and glades. Picnicking is also quite a popular activity at Cedars of Lebanon State Park. Each table comes equipped with grills. There are 11 picnic shelters located throughout, three of which can be reserved for a fee.

Camping

All sites are drive-up and offer water and electric hookup. Nearby cities include Lebanon, Hermitage, Murfreesboro, Smyrna, and Mt. Juliet. Pets are welcome.

If you are interested in a more intimate and evolved stay at Cedars of Lebanon State Park, then camping is the perfect way to experience this popular park. Cedars of Lebanon State Park features a beautiful forest, limestone glades, a plethora of wildlife, and rare plants. As you explore the park, you will happen upon caves, creeks, sinkholes, and butterfly gardens.

The campground is open year-round. The maximum stay is two weeks. There is Wi-Fi on location.

Cabins

Cedars of Lebanon State Park has nine two-bedroom cabins, which can accommodate up to five people. They come fully furnished with a kitchen, living area, and one bathroom. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, coffeemaker, and utensils. A queen-sized bed is downstairs, while a king-sized bed is housed upstairs, and a twin in the loft.

You can also choose to stay in the Ricketts Historical Cabin. This historic cabin is perfect for newlyweds and anniversaries. The cabin was built in the 1930 and is set up for two people. It comes fully furnished. All you have to do is bring groceries.
