Gaylord Opryland’s A Country Christmas occurs each year, offering a wide array of fun, holiday events that visitors can take advantage of. This year, the holiday tradition continues beginning on Friday, November 9, 2018 until Tuesday, January 1, 2019. You’ll find the Gaylord Opryland hotel located at 150 Fourth Avenue North, Ste. G-250, Nashville, TN 37219.
What to Do
The great thing about Gaylord Opryland’s A Country Christmas is the fact that there’s so much to do! Some of the fun events you can attend include the following:
- Cirque Dreams Holidaze – At this event, you can view penguins, angels, snowmen, toy soldiers, reindeer, and more performing unique stunts in the air.
- ICE! Featuring Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas – At the ICE! event, you and your family can enjoy seeing over 2 million pounds of carved, colorful ice sculptures with a unique theme. A long running tradition, the ICE! event features a new theme each year.
- Snow Tubing – At the Gaylord Opryland Events Center Lawn, you can race your family and friends down Nashville’s five-lane tubing hill covered in 1.5-million pounds of real snow.
- A Trace Adkins Christmas – Listen to Trace Adkins perform songs from The King’s Gift.
- Glacier Glide Ice Skating – Ice skate under the stars with your friends!
- Santa’s Spinners – If you enjoy rides, you’ll love stepping inside Santa’s tea cups for a wild ride!
