Everybody knows that Nashville knows how to celebrate, and the 18th Annual Music City Brewer’s Fest combines two of the city’s finest exports: entertainment and craft brews.
When and Where
The festival will be held at the Music City Walk of Fame Park on Saturday, July 27. It begins at 5 p.m. and will run until 9 that night. The park is located at 121 4th Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee 37203. General admission tickets for participants start at $49, while designated drivers may enter for $20. For $75, you can spring for the VIP treatment early entry. You’ll also receive a souvenir cup and complimentary tastings. The VIP ticket grants access to specialty concoctions that will only be around for the first hour, as well as a free game of dodgeball, shaded seating, and a VIP portable restroom. Understandably, this event is for patrons 21 years old and up.
The Festival
On the hot summer evening, you can quench your thirst with the craft offerings of over 40 local, regional, national, and import makers. Nashville brewers like Yazoo, New Heights, and Jackalope will share the park with MadTree from Ohio, Whiner from Illinois, and Grayton from Florida. As you explore the festival, you’re bound to encounter some brews that aren’t normally so easy to find in these parts. You’ll even see spirits from the familiar Captain Morgan, Smirnoff, and Bulleit.
Beyond the Brews
Entertainment will come courtesy of DJ Ready Rob as well as the stage-cramming soulful act, Lady Couch. The event starts right around dinner time, so if you bring an appetite, you won’t be disappointed. Hearty food vendors include Pancho & Lefty’s Cantina, Charcoal Cowboy’s, Daddy’s Dogs, Bar-B-Cutie Smokehouse, Cleveland Kraut, Southern Jerky, and more. If you’re craving an icy treat, 40 Below Joe will be there to serve up their flash-frozen sweet coffee beads.
