All-American Pie

All you have to do is ice the top of the pie, take some blueberries or blackberries to form the blue corner of the ‘flag’, and use strawberries and icing to do the stripes.

Similar to the all-American pie above, you can use appropriately colored fruit and smooth cream cheese over a wonderfully, flaky crust. All your guests will love this mouthwatering pizza.
Flag Salad
Fruit salad, yummy yummy! This fruit salad has a twisted pairing of watermelon and feta cheese over a bed of arugula. What’s more summery than watermelon? With your bed of arugula placed on a rectangular tray, first, you’ll want to place your blueberries in the upper left corner of your tray. Then, place your cubed watermelon and white feta cheese in rows like the American Flag.

Star Shaped Treats
Plain rice crispy treats are great, but let’s make them patriotic. You’ll need a star-shaped cookie cutter to make the rice crispies into the shape of a star. After you have your stars, insert a popsicle stick into the bottom of each of the stars. Then, spread icing on the front of all the stars and add red, white, and blue sprinkles. This is a fun activity to do with kids too and makes a great picnic dessert.
