Watch A Movie At Stardust Drive-In Theatre

Summertime can be a lot of fun. While it is a break from school and sometimes work, your schedule can get quite busy. Make sure to schedule some easygoing fun that you, your family, and your friends can appreciate. When you are looking for some low-key fun this summer, consider watching a movie at Stardust Drive-In Theatre this summer season.

Hours of Operation

The drive-in is the perfect activity to do on a warm summer night. Conveniently located twenty minutes away from Lebanon, Tennessee, Stardust Drive-In Theatre is open each day of the week. On Friday and Saturday nights, the Box-Office gates open at 6 in the evening. The gates are open at 7 at night from Sunday nights to Thursday nights. Each night you and your friends can enjoy a double feature.

Why the Drive-In?

Granted, you can go to a regular movie theatre to see the latest movie that has come out on the big screen. There is something unique and a bit nostalgic, however, about watching a movie at the drive-in. Gather a group of your friends or your family to all watch the newest blockbuster from the comfort of your vehicle or outside the vehicle with folding chairs and blankets. Relax and unwind as you watch the movie under a blanket of stars on a warm summer evening. Sounds amazing, right? Come visit Stardust Drive-In Theatre to see films like Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Elemental, Spider-Man: Across the Universe, and more.

Retro Wednesdays

While seeing the latest movie can be fun, sometimes its good to watch an oldie that is a goodie. On Retro Wednesdays, you and your family or date can watch films that have been out for a while, but are classics in their own way. If you love everything 80’s, you will want to catch E.T. and Back to the Future on July 5th. Make it a Girls’ Night on July 12th to watch Mean Girls and Clueless. For the romantics who enjoy great dancing, you will want to watch Grease and Dirty Dancing on July 19th.

Grab Something from Concessions

Part of the fun of going to the movies is getting concessions. There are plenty of yummy snacks and treats to get at the drive-in when you come. There are movie classics like popcorn, Junior Mints, Raisinettes, etc. If you need something a bit more substantial, the drive-in concession stand does have dinner baskets. You can opt for the hamburger, chicken sandwich, chicken strips, and more. The baskets come with crinkle cut fries and coleslaw. The drive-in also offers hot dogs and pizza. There are also an assortment of other snacks to select from at the concessions. Enjoy fried pickles, fried mushrooms, or tater tots. Do not forget to wash your meal down with a delicious beverage. There are a variety of sodas and bottled waters. When the temperatures drop in the evening or you need to stay alert for the second film, the concession stand does have coffee, cappuccino, and hot chocolate.
