It’s a Wonderful Life
Premiering back in 1946, It’s a Wonderful Life has got to be one of the most classic and iconic Christmas movies ever made. This film’s protagonist is a man with big ambitions by the name of George Bailey. After failing to leave his hometown, George decides to spend his holidays making sacrifices for those around him, and creates a rippling effect of inspirational good deeds.
A Christmas Story
A Christmas Story provides another iconic Christmas feeling. Most known for the classic quote, “You’ll shoot your eye out, kid,” this movie tells the story of a boy who wants nothing more for Christmas than an official Red Ryder BB gun. Throughout the story, however, the main character Ralphie finds himself in precarious situations such as having his tongue stuck to a frozen pole.
